Sent from the deepest depths of the swirling void, Apollyon was conjured to annihilate and conquer. Upon the gathering of four death obsessed, sleaze ridden, hellhounds, a ripping metal death campaign was set into motion. Nocturnal sluts and beer drinking hellraisers everywhere will soon know to heed the call of the coffin and take the oath of allegiance to this unholy horde, or be crushed under cloven hooves. Apollyon’s blasphemous declarations of war upon false metal can be heard on their newly released EP, entitled “MIDNIGHT.”

Opening Bell are a three-piece from NYC, whose members have collectively performed and recorded in countless underground bands over the years. They have accumulated too many touring miles to count throughout too many parts of the world to remember. This project has them exploring new realms of challenging sound while maintaining footing in the worlds of heavy, meditative and electronic musics.

NORTHERN CURSE (New Hampshire)
“We view this band as a raw and simple Black Metal band. No frills but a little hint of melody here and there. But obviously we all play in Hardcore bands. So I’m sure that sort of framework is worked in there. My brother and I grew up listening to Thrash and Death Metal so you might hear some of that shining through as well: Morbid Angel, Unleashed, Disincarnate, on the Death side of things and Sepultura, Slayer, Sarcofogo and probably Metallica on the Thrash side, and whatever else we’ve picked up along the way.” – Matt Serven of Northern Curse, interviewed by Decibel Magazine’s Demo:listen

A split recording with Opening Bell is due out on Bsoton label, Divergent Series, very soon.
